“Podiums Rule the Roost for Team Babbitt”
Team AMSOIL rider Darcy Lange grabs four spots on the
box
Salem,
Ore. ~ It was a successful night of racing in the BooKoo Arenacross
Championship Series last weekend for Team Babbitt/AMSOIL out of Michigan. The
Salem, Ore. Event was the second race on the AX series schedule, and the AMSOIL
backed riders brought home an impressive four podiums.
On Friday
night, AMSOIL rider Darcy Lange held off a hard charging Riley Kurosky to finish
second in the 250 main. He finished off the podium in Fridays’ 450 final.
On Saturday,
Team Babbitt continued to assert its dominance on the BooKoo series. In the 250
main, AMSOIL rider Jeff Northrop took the hole shot and led for five laps.
Lange started slow in seventh, but began charging towards the front. Brad
Ripple had moved around Northrop for the lead, but Ripple went down in a sand
section, giving the lead back to Northrop. That lasted until Lange passed his
teammate on the last lap. Northrop finished second.
In the 450
main, Team Babbitt’s rider Lange started third, then passed the top two riders
for the lead with 13 laps remaining. He would hold off the field for his second
win of the night.
After two
weekends of racing and two more wins, Lange has increased his series lead to 42
points. Northrop is showing incredible speed and sits only one point behind
second place. Team Babbitt’s/AMSOIL will be in Yakima, Wash. this weekend for
the third round of the BooKoo series.
“AMSOIL Strong in Upstate N.Y.”
Junior Jackson Racing gains ground in point’s race
Albany,
N.Y. ~ Junior Jackson Racing riders Chad Johnson and Greg Schnell were
looking to gain some ground in the AMA Toyota Arenacross series this past
weekend in upstate New York.
Defending
champion Chad Johnson led the way on Friday night in the Arenacross class,
taking a third place finish ahead of teammate Greg Schnell. The two Suzuki
riders tried to get back on top on Saturday, but only Johnson made the final,
finishing eighth. Johnson currently sits in third in the AMA AX series
standings, and Schnell is two points behind in fourth.
Rookie rider
Ryan Poulter finished fourth on Saturday night in the Arenacross Lites class.
Junior Jackson Racing will be in Reno, Nevada this weekend for round three of
the AMA AX series.
“AMSOIL Blog Ready for Opener”

Duluth National
Superior,
Wis. ~ AMSOIL, Inc., The First in Synthetics, will be producing a weblog, “Blog”,
for next weekend’s AMSOIL Duluth National. The Blog will bring up to date
information to race fans and AMSOIL customers regarding the opening weekend of
the World PowerSports Association’s season opener.

AMSOIL, which
is the Official Oil of the WPSA, will bring updates on all of the weekend
activities being held at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minn. Team AMSOIL fans can
also find out if local favorite D.J. Eckstrom and his new teammate, Shaun Crapo,
won the season opener and if they qualified for the 2007 Winter X Games.
The AMSOIL
Duluth National is scheduled to begin on Friday, November 24 with the world’s
top pro’s vying for a spot at Winter X. Saturday and Sunday will also feature
full days of racing in all classes.

- Lubach Racing has
posted its season results. Kevin Lubach, an 18-year-old high school
senior, raced weekly at Chilton (CCRA) in the Challenger class to finish
fourth in the point’s standings and was named Rookie of the Year for
2006.
His brother,
Bradley, took that honor last year. Bradley Lubach also raced weekly at
Chilton in the CCRA and at Plymouth (PDTR) at the Sheboygan County
fairgrounds, in the Grand Nationals division. The 20-year-old driver
followed last year’s Rookie of the Year honors with a fifth overall in
the final points race. He finished strong with a win at the final
feature of the season. At Chilton, Bradley finished third in points,
for two top five finishes for the season. He also ran three times at
Manitowoc (EWSCA) finishing eighth, fifth and third, respectively, in
