Changing Seasons

The race seasons are slowly changing from summer and motocross, etc., to winter and snocross. That means most of the corporately sponsored teams are on standby for a few weeks.  If you are an AMSOIL Dealer and are looking to sponsor a local racer through the AMSOIL Co-op Race Program, please fill out the G-2074 and send into me.  Teams who were sponsored last year will need to fill out the form once again.  Thank you all and good luck.

AMSOIL Racing Coordinator

More From Team AMSOIL

  • Justin Benson finished off a strong weekend of racing at the HLR Motorsports Park in Moberly, Mo. last weekend.  Benson finished second in both motos on Saturday in the 85cc Beginner Class.  He followed that with two first place finishes on Sunday. Benson is currently leading the points race after 28 motos.  He is sponsored by AMSOIL through SponsorHouse.com.

  • Jeff Pohlman of Pohlman Racing finished third at the Magic Valley Speedway last weekend.  Pohlman raced in the NASCAR Grand Nationals class in the Dodge Weekly Series.  The 2004 Rookie of the Year is currently in third place in the series.  He was also voted “Most Improved Driver” this season by his peers.  He is sponsored by AMSOIL Dealer Don Peters.
  • Kirk Alexander finished the 2005 True Value Late Model Series at New Hampshire’s USA Speedway with 12 wins and the season championship.  It’s the second straight year that Alexander has won the points race.  The team is sponsored by AMSOIL Dealers Gary and Kathy Rokes.
  • Panic Racing’s Langley, British Columbia rider Chris Gartman made drag bike history in September as he rode his “Worlds First” rear engine Pro/Fuel Harley to victory in the top fuel category of the Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing Association’s final race of 2005.  Gartman found the six-second zone during round three of qualifying at the Mission Raceway in British Columbia.  He pushed his back-motored combo to 6.83 seconds at 196.42 MPH.  Panic Racing is sponsored by AMSOIL Dealer Chuck Mauch.

  • Jordan SchleicherJordan and Jake Schleicher are making their father proud this year at local Minnesota tracks.  With zero break-downs or motor problems the entire season, Jordan was able to finish 3rd in the 85 Mini Class, 1st in the Open Mini and 125 Amateur Class and fourth in the 250 Amateur Class.  Brother Jake took a clean sweep of his two classes, winning both the Open Amateur Class and the 505 Amateur Class.  The team is sponsored by their father, AMSOIL Dealer Jerry Scheicher.
